Part 1: Color Presentation
I’m going over all the characteristics and variables for my color analysis so that you can follow along, collaborate and understand with every decision being made during the analysis (draping) process
Part 2: The Analysis or Draping
By comparing 100+ drapes, we find colors that create positive and lasting impressions. We re-test anything that we felt unsure about and any of the seasons that you were super curious about when you first started the session. It’s a relaxed time where you can ask questions, share stories (funny and vulnerable) and be amazed by how much one woman can give off what seems like hundreds of different impressions just from the power of colors alone. Clients are always amazed by how obviously noticeable the effects of different colors are!!
Part 3: Your Perfect Hair Shade
Tailored recommendations for hair shades that complement your seasonal palette and advice on conveying your needs to your hairstylist. We use my large arsenal of hair sample, your natural hair color, your preferences and insights from your color analysis result to find your perfect no-fail shade of hair.
Part 4: Makeup
A full-face makeup application using my makeup matched to your resulting seasonal colors, enriched with essential tips and assistance in choosing the right foundation. Learning with items from mine and your own makeup collection to practice creating harmonious color ensembles. Tip and tricks to ensure good makeup purchases and application in the future. Comes with a physical and digital makeup color reference for easy chopping.
Part 5: Clothing
Bring in clothes from your own wardrobe to see if your clothes fit into your season! I’ll also teach in depth on how to use your physical color palette correctly, so that you feel confident in your shopping choices.
Part 6: Jewelry
Find your perfect jewelry tone down to the nitty-gritty of specific shade of gold, shine, and size.
Once you’ve found your best colors, you’ll wake up feeling totally confident—knowing your closet is filled with pieces that really bring out your natural glow and show off who you truly are.
So there is like a new sense of—there is a part of me that has curiosity and confidence around exploring what clothes look like on me moving forward. I don’t feel the way that I did before… And so feeling confident about my cute little T-shirt—and how it matched stuff that I already own—was, like, oh, that’s exciting. So that that felt really good.

My experience at Moon Over Star was life changing! I am so happy that I finally had the opportunity to get my color analysis professionally done.
Michelle was so kind and supportive through the whole process. She made the analysis super collaborative which I appreciated. The results I received blew my mind and were much different than what I was expecting going in.
All in all, although getting a PCA is expensive, it was completely worth it for me. The information I learned in my session can be used for the rest of my life. I feel so much more confident wearing colors that I typically would’ve shied away from.
I highly recommend getting your PCA done with Michelle!

Is this you...?
- You’ve tried TikTok filters, random quizzes, or even had friends swear “You’re definitely this season,” yet none of it left you feeling 100% sure or any better about your clothes.
- Your friends or partner say “You look great!” no matter what—yet you want a more honest, expert opinion, because deep down, you know you’re capable of looking and feeling even better.
- Big social events or special occasions trigger a mini anxiety spiral—you try on piles of clothes, hate them all, and end up feeling worse about your body and your style.
- Your closet is filled with black, gray, and dark neutrals you chose to play it safe, but every time you slip them on, you still feel like something’s off—and it chips away at your confidence.
- Your closet is overflowing with pieces you bought on a hunch—they seemed cute on the rack, but then you get home, put them on, and ugh. Cue the downward spiral of “What was I thinking?”
- You see other high-level women in your company who always look so polished and powerful, and you can’t figure out why that same outfit doesn’t look half as good when you wear it.
- You know your body and skin have changed (hello, menopause!), but you’re tired of feeling less confident or hating how you look in the mirror…especially when social events roll around.
- You’re so unsure about color that you’ve basically stopped buying new clothes (professionally and socially) because you don’t want to waste money on the wrong things.
- You’re keeping your office lights dim—or worse, switching off your camera on video calls—because you’d rather hide than have people see a color that clearly doesn’t flatter you.
- You’ve considered bleaching your hair (or un-bleaching it), but the fear of picking the wrong color and feeling blah for months holds you back.
- You secretly love experimenting—going goth one day, wearing bold neon the next—but you wish you actually knew which shades bring out your features (instead of feeling washed out or just plain weird).
Personal Color Analysis is the secret sauce that takes you from second-guessing and “closet confusion” to feeling at home in your own skin—empowering you to know exactly which colors make you shine, so you can ditch the doubt and finally show up as the truest, most confident version of you.

“I booked the 4-hour VIP personal color analysis as a Christmas gift for my wife. It is hands down the best gift I have ever given her. It was all she talked about for the rest of the day. Not only how much she learned from Michelle but how much she liked Michelle personally and enjoyed the experience.
The session was expensive (until you realize the context is confidence your budget for clothing, jewelry, and makeup is well spent) but one conversation with Michelle gave me the confidence to move forward. Michelle had advice on how best to give the gift (not as a surprise on the day of the appointment!) and had helpful materials to read before the session.”

“I had an absolutely fantastic experience with my color analysis session! From start to finish, it was not only incredibly informative but also so much fun. Michelle was thoughtful and knowledgeable, explaining everything in a way that was easy to understand and tailored to my coloring. She took the time to walk me through the process, re-test colors as needed, and I could tell she was genuinely passionate about helping her clients discover the colors that worked best.
What I loved most was how comfortable and engaging the whole experience felt. The session was relaxed, interactive, and I walked away with a clear understanding of my personal palette and how to use it to enhance my wardrobe and makeup. I feel so much more confident in my color choices now, and I’m excited to incorporate the insights into my daily style! Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about their colors—it's truly worth the time and investment!”

“I just had my color analysis done with Michelle, and it was a fantastic experience! She’s super friendly, sweet, and open-minded, and she made me feel super comfortable the whole time. She was also very patient and thorough in making sure I had all my questions answered, and going back and experimenting with colors we were less certain about.
What I also really appreciated was how detail-oriented Michelle is — she took notes throughout the session and didn’t rush anything. After the draping, she gave me guidance on hair, makeup, jewelry, and clothing, plus a color swatch to take with me for shopping.
I was a bit nervous beforehand, since I felt like I had no idea of the basics (like telling what colors are warm or cool, or even having an idea of the colors that flattered me), but during the draping, it was so easy to see the differences in how each drape flattered (or did not flatter) my features and skin. Michelle really helped me feel involved in the process - the session was super collaborative, and I was able to contribute much more to the discussion than I thought I would!
I feel so much more confident now about picking colors that flatter me, and excited to experiment with makeup (I haven't worn anything more than concealer and lip balm in a decade!).
I can't recommend Michelle enough if you're thinking about getting a color analysis done - she made the whole session engaging and informative, and I feel like it was genuinely a game changer for my makeup and wardrobe.“

“Michelle at Moon Over Star is AMAZING!!! I had been researching color analysis for a few months, trying the different online "hacks" and FINALLY took the leap to get it professionally done. I'm so glad I did!
Michelle answered all of my questions and we had a dialogue going the entire time, which made any insecurities about not wearing makeup completely disappear. What I most appreciated about Michelle was her personalized approach. She knew I was really interested in color analysis from my researching, and took time explaining the "why" behind every step of the journey.
She is dedicated to her craft and sees color for more than what is on the swatch. For example I am a True Spring, but when my hair was revealed it was NOT jiving with the True Spring colors. Michelle challenged me in the best way and we started strategizing to see IF something else creative could work. We experimented with makeup and found, the Light Spring makeup palette worked amazing even WITH the True Spring wardrobe! Which I felt the most confident in. We agreed a True/True would be 10/10 but she took time to find a next best option.
Michelle is honest, patient, witty, and warm - she cares about her clients, and I left feeling extremely confident in how my closet is going to evolve! If you need a PCA look no further than Michelle!”

FAQ
1. Where does the session take place?
It takes place in my studio in the Milk Disctrict of Orlando, FL. The address is here 201 S Bumby Ave, Orlando FL 32803. If you’re outside the area, let’s chat about possible travel options.2. What if I’m in the middle of changing my hair color or going gray?
It’s still a great time to do PCA because your skin’s undertone doesn’t drastically change. If you’re planning a big hair change, we can talk about color direction to support your new look. Plus, you’ll get tips on how to adjust makeup and wardrobe for subtle shifts in your coloring over time.3. Do you provide a take-home color palette?
Yes! After the session, you’ll receive a personalized swatch fan that summarizes your best colors (valued at $80). This is a handy guide for shopping, putting outfits together, and matching accessories.
4. What if I’ve tried color analysis before and was a dissatisfied?
I have a lot of experience dealing with clients where I’m their second or even third PCA, where they left FINALLY feelings like everything made sense, in every sense. And I honestly pride myself in being the best personal color analyst in the game. I am excellent with all ethnicities for accuate PCA results and I take the time to explain exactly what I’m looking for in easy-to-understand language and creative analogies. I am open to going at your pace until you see become sure, like sure from the core of your being sure.
5. I’m worried about looking ‘too flashy’ or standing out. Will the recommended colors be subtle?
You set the tone! I’ll show you a full spectrum of colors that complement your undertones. It’s totally your call whether you want to lean into bolder shades or keep things soft and neutral. PCA is about discovering your best range, not forcing you into bright hues if that’s not your style.
6. I live outside the area. Do you do virtual or travel sessions?
If you’re not local, let’s talk about the possibilities. In some cases, I can arrange travel for an additional fee. And unfortunately, I can not perform virtual color analysis as I can not stand by the validity of any results from such methods. The experience of watching your face change due to different colored drapes isn’t something that can be replicated.
7. What if I don’t like my results?
I totally get it—sometimes you might hope to be in a certain “season” or think a specific color is your color, only to discover something else actually suits you better. That can feel jarring at first! My goal is never to box you in, but to give you more choices based on what naturally complements your features. We’ll talk through your concerns, see how you can still work with any colors you truly love, and explore ways to style them so you feel confident, not restricted. Ultimately, it’s about finding what brings out the best in you—and that can be an empowering shift once you see it in action.
8. What if I’m nervous about spending so much time with a stranger?
That’s totally understandable—I’m a big believer in creating a comfortable, welcoming space. Before we dive into color draping, we’ll take a few minutes to just chat and get to know each other so it feels less like an appointment with a stranger and more like catching up with a friend. You can ask any questions you like, and I’m always open to checking in throughout the session to make sure you’re feeling good. If you prefer a shorter session or need breaks, let me know—I’ll customize the experience so you feel at ease.
9. I’m worried the session might feel too personal or overwhelming.
I get that color analysis can feel vulnerable because it involves looking closely at your appearance. However, my approach is all about empowerment, not critique. We’ll focus on celebrating the unique qualities you already have rather than “fixing” anything. I’ll guide you step by step through the draping process and explain what I’m seeing, so there are no surprises. And remember—you’re in control at all times.
10. Will you pressure me to change my look right away?
Not at all! I’ll provide a roadmap of your best colors, suggestions for makeup, and styling tips, but how fast or how much you integrate them is completely up to you. Some clients revamp their entire wardrobe, while others take it slow, adding in new pieces or adjusting their makeup routine bit by bit. I actually don’t recommend for people to go too quickly because my own journey took 2-3 years to transition.
11. Is there a chance I’ll end up hating the colors you recommend?
It’s rare, but if you’re attached to certain shades that aren’t technically “ideal,” we’ll brainstorm ways to make them work—like layering with your best neutrals or pairing them with the right accessories. The goal is never to strip away your personality; it’s to give you tools so you can feel more like yourself, not less.
12. What if I’m introverted and don’t want to share too much?
No worries—this session is on your terms. If you’re more comfortable with a straightforward, no-frills color analysis, we’ll do exactly that. If you’d rather talk deeply about your style history or body image, I’m here for that too. You decide how much (or how little) you want to share.
13. After the session, can I still reach out with questions?
Absolutely. This isn’t a “one and done” experience. If you realize you have more questions later—like shopping dilemmas, makeup tweaks, or hair color options—I’m just an email away. I want to support you in making the most of your newfound color knowledge long after you leave the session. If you want more detailed support, I also have Continuing Color service to provide focused 30-min support for you.
14. How do I book and what’s the next step?
Simply click the “Book Now” button or reach out via email. You’ll receive a confirmation with all the details—session time, location, and a few prep tips. Then get ready to discover how amazing you can look in colors truly made for you!
So, here’s the question:
You’ve read everything up to this point, nodding along because you feel how different life could be if you finally had the clarity and confidence to wear your true colors. Are you going to keep second-guessing every outfit and settling for a closet that makes you want to hide? Or are you ready to step into a world where you wake up, throw on something that feels perfectly you, and walk out the door with your head held high?
- If you do nothing, you’ll stay on the hamster wheel of guesswork—endless trial and error, wasting money on clothes you never wear, and never truly loving how you look.
- If you leap, you’ll give yourself permission to embrace that next-level confidence, skip the morning struggle, and show up in every room already owning the space.
The fact you’re still here means part of you knows you’re ready. It’s just a matter of taking that final step. Let’s make it happen together.
